organizingThose who know me would say that that my apartment is smaller than average and that sometimes it is hard to find enough places to put all of my “stuff”.  Those who know me would also say (just wanting to be honest) that I simply lack the skill of organizing.  Sometimes I’m so overwhelmed with size/space vs stuff that I just give up and start placing things wherever there’s an empty space of counter or desk top.

So enough!  I have heard of companies who provide you with help in organizing things from garages, closets, offices, files, etc., etc., etc.  The biggest thing for me is that they advertise that their organizing is done using “sustainable tricks and tools”.  They will help you to sell the things you don’t need (putting some cash in your pocket) and they’ll recommend sustainable shelving and storage containers.

My parents have promised me a gift certificate to one of the organizers in the Milwaukee area for my birthday.  That’s not for a few months yet.  But, maybe that’s okay.  It will give me a chance to go through some of my files and boxes and be able to have him/her organize only what I plan to keep.

Here is the link to find your very own professional organizer.  Just key in your zip code and your headaches will start to go away!

If you choose not to go with a professional, there are plenty of office supply companies in the Milwaukee area that can help you start organizing your office/home office.
